Pastel Sunset
This photo was taken from the top of the hill at Seal Point Park in San Mateo, looking at East Bay over the San Francisco Bay.
It was a calm late evening before the last hues of light was quickly dimming, when I took a look towards the East and could not believe what I was seeing. Every pastel color I’v e ever seen was there in loosely overlapped and intertwined stripes. I could hardly distinguish the separation lines between the bay waters, East Bay shoreline, the hills, and the skies. There were all there, but the entire scene looked like a single giant “canvas” that was glowing with faint pastel color stripes.
